Our office is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

No referral is required to see Dr. Bahi. Generally patients are sent to Dr. Bahi by a dentist or other practitioners who feel that his specialist skills are required for a particular case.  The dentist or doctor referring you to our office will send us a referral form outlining your diagnosis and intended treatment.  Patients are welcome to come directly to our office without a referral form.

There are many different procedures that Dr. Bahi performs.  When you come in for your appointment, Dr. Bahi will be able to determine exactly what needs to be done based on his diagnosis.  At that point, we will be able to give you an accurate cost of the surgery and an estimate of what your insurance could cover. We are happy to provide you with a pre-surgical estimate of fees on the day of your appointment.  If you choose to come in for an exam prior to your procedure we can obtain a preauthorization from your insurance company as to the amount they will cover.  If you choose to have your exam and procedure on the same day, we can give you our best estimate on what your insurance carrier will cover based upon information provided by you.  The balance of what your insurance does not cover or if you do not have insurance is expected on the day of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Interac.

Many procedures can be performed on the same day as your initial consultation. However, when procedures require further planning and preparation they will be performed at a separate visit.

Our office staff is very familiar with all of the major insurance carriers.  Every effort will be made to maximize your insurance benefits and our staff will assist you in the claims process.  Your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance carrier and due to the privacy act, we do not have details of your insurance coverage.  Therefore, the ultimate responsibility for payment lies with you.  If your insurance does not cover any or all of your procedure costs after we remit them to your insurance company we will invoice you accordingly.  Payment of the invoice is due upon receipt.

Procedures performed in the clinic are not covered by your Care Card

It is a natural response to be anxious about surgery. Dr. Bahi and his skilled staff make every effort so that your experience is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.  Many techniques can be used to make your treatment more comfortable including all forms of Anesthesia which you can read about below.

If you are receiving IV Sedation or General Anesthesia, you will need a responsible adult to drive you home and to remain with you for several hours following surgery.  You should not operate any vehicle or hazardous device for at least 18 hours.  Patients receiving local anesthetic have the option of driving themselves home.

Parents of small children may accompany their child prior to surgery to ask the doctor any questions.  However, no family members are allowed in the operating theater when patients are asleep.
