Meet the Staff

Patient Coordinator / Front Office Coordinator – Marlee

Marlee started working with us in 2014. She will be the one of the two staff members you will speak with first when you contact us. Marlee is responsible for running the front desk with Amie. She handles all of our appointment bookings, invoicing and all other front desk tasks that may arise. If you have any questions in regards to payments, insurance coverage or appointment booking she is always happy to help.

Surgical / Dental Implant Coordinator – Dana

Dana joined our office in 2016. She graduated from Vancouver Community College as a  Certified Dental Assistant in 2007.  Dana brings extensive experience with her.  She has been working as an Dental Assistant since she graduated in 2007 in both general dentistry and dental speciality offices.  She also furthered her experience by offering her skills with both dental and medical professionals with a charity dental care program when she travelled to the Philippines with ICD Semiahmoo Outreach Dental Group.

Dana is one of the individuals that will be in the room with you at the time of your surgical procedure or consultation.  Dana also manages our clinical area and is our dental implant coordinator. If you are coming to see us for dental implants you will meet with Dana and Dr. Bahi.

Front Office / Hospital Coordinator – Amie

Amie has been working with our office since 2018. She will be one of the two staff members you will speak with, and she will be the first person to greet you when you visit our office. Amie handles all the appointments and bookings associated with surgeries at the hospital. She is also responsible for running the front desk with Marlee. She would be happy to answer any of your questions regarding hospital bookings. 

Dental Assistant - Aish

Aishwarya has been with us since 2021. Aishwarya joined our team in 2021. She graduated from Burnaby South Secondary School. Aspiring to become a dentist, she moved to India to pursue Bachelors of Dental Surgery. After completing her dental program in India in 2018, she moved back to Canada and is currently in the process of upgrading her credentials here. When you visit our office, you will see Aishwarya during your surgical procedure and in the front taking your panoramic x-ray if required.

Nurse – Shannon

Shannon started working with us in 2014. Shannon graduated from Trent University in Peterborough Ontario with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. She has worked in maternity and the neonatal intensive care unit in Peterborough Hospital. She worked at The Children’s Hospital of Westmead in Australia on a high actuity medical unit specializing in liver and kidney transplants. Today you will find her at Surrey Memorial in the Pediatric Emergency Department as well at on the inpatient pediatric unit. When you visit our practice you will see Shannon if you have elected to have your procedure done with General Anesthesia or Intravenous Sedation.

Registered Nurse – Ali

All has been with us since 2014. Ali has been a Registered Nurse for over 6 years and has spent the majority of her career working in the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Columbian Hospital. After graduating with Honors from Langara College, Ali furthered her education by completing the Critical Care Certification program through BCIT. Ali is ACLS and PALS certified. When you visit our practice you will see Ali if you have elected to have your procedure done with General Anesthesia or Intravenous Sedation.

Nurse – Soniya

Soniya has been a part of the team since 2014. Soniya has been a Registered Nurse for over 12 years, graduating from Nursing in British Columbia and has primarily specialized in Neonatal intensive care at Royal Columbian Hospital and Surrey Memorial Hospital. She has spent time in Emergency care and Medical cosmetic procedures. Soniya is NRP and PALS certified. When you visit our practice you will see Soniya if you have elected to have your procedure done with General Anesthesia or Intravenous Sedation.

Nurse – Melissa

Melissa graduated from the University of Northern BC with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and has been working as a Registered Nurse for 13 years. She has spent the majority of here career working as a critical care trained RN in the intensive care unit. Her past experience includes The intensive care unit at University Hospital of Northern BC, Surrey Memorial ICU, and her present position at Royal Columbian Intensive Care Unit. When you visit our practice you will see Melissa if you have elected to have your procedure done with general Anesthesia or Intravenous Sedation.

Registered Nurse - Breanne

Breanne has been with us since 2021. Breanne started her nursing career in 2012 after graduating from Douglas College. Breanne completed the High Acuity Nursing Specialty at BCIT and subsequently worked in the High Acuity Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital.  Breanne, furthered her training with the Critical Care Specialty program and followed her love of cardiac care to the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, and later to the Intensive Care Unit at Royal Columbian Hospital. In addition to her work at the hospital, Breanne works as an Instructor in the Critical Care Nursing Program at BCIT and supports students in the Intensive Care Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital.  When you visit our practice you will see Breanne if you have elected to have your procedure done with general Anesthesia or Intravenous Sedation. 

Registered Nurse - Marcia

Marcia has been with us since 2021. Marcia graduated with a BSN from Kwantlen University in 2005. She furthered her education by completing her Perioperative Nursing specialty in 2006 through BCIT. Marcia has worked the majority of her nursing career in Fraser Health Authority. She has held several leadership positions including Perioperative Clinical Nurse Educator. Marcia has an understanding and passion for supporting patients with surgical anxiety. When you visit our office, you will see Marcia if you have elected to have your procedure done with general anesthesia.
